IN THE AISLES

three varieties to its Eight O’Clock
Coffee Infusions line. Eight O’Clock
Infusions consists of ground 100-per-
cent Arabica bean coffee blended with
additional ingredients to deliver an
enhanced coffee drinking experience
for consumers, while also driving incremental sales in the coffee aisle.
The additional Eight O’Clock

designed to awaken the senses; Acai Glow, a medium roast featuring acai berry, for a rich,
fruity vibrant coffee experience; and B6 Metabolism, a dark roast, crafted to help support
normal energy-yielding metabolism with a fruit and herbal blend, rich in vitamin B6.
“Consumers have become more savvy and are seeking out new products that provide an

ALL IN THE FAMILY
Viña Aresti, an estate-produced winery based in Chile’s Curicó
Valley, has added the “Family Collection” Assemblage to its portfolio.
According to company officials, Family Collection is a blend of five
varietals carefully selected from the best vineyard sites in the Curicó
Valley. The bold red wine was originally made by winery founder Don
Vicente Aresti exclusively for his family. The 2012 vintage, which will
be sold in the U.S., has garnered numerous domestic and international awards, including a Gold Medal at the 2017 International
Wine Challenge, and has frequently scored higher than 90 points by
some leading wine critics.
The grapes for the “Family Collection” are 100-percent hand-har-vested from the best sites within the family’s estate. The blend consists
of 50 percent Cabernet Sauvignon, 20 percent Merlot, 12 percent
Syrah, 10 percent Petite Sirah and 8 percent Petit Verdot.
Imported by Miami-based VinAmericas, Viña Aresti has a suggested
retail price of $34.99 for a 750 ML bottle.

Thin Is In
Tuscanini, an Italian manufacturer of
genuine brick wood oven personal pizzas,
authentic home-style sauces and hand-crafted biscotti, has introduced Tuscanini
Parchment Crackers – paper-thin treats
imported from the island of Sardinia.
The line is available in three GMO-free varieties – Olive Oil, Olive Oil with Rosemary, and
Olive Oil with Oregano – that are GMO-free.
“Consumers are looking for simple, yet sophis-
ticated snack options,” says Kimberly Cassar, VP
of marketing at Kayco, the Bayonne, N.J.-based
importer and distributor of Tuscanini products.
“We know that crackers are found in 77 percent
of U.S. households, and the demand by consum-
ers is trending toward thinner, healthier and
yet delicious crackers. Tuscanini’s hand-crafted
Parchment Crackers are baked, never fried,
so they’re an ideal swap for flatbread, chips or
calorie-heavy snack crackers. Our paper-thin
Parchment Crackers deliver authentic Italian
flavor with just five simple ingredients and 120
calories per serving.”
Tuscanini Parchment Crackers are made
with re-milled durum wheat semolina, which is
superior to other ground wheat products which,
Cassar says, is what “gives the cracker its unique
flavor and crunch.”
Tuscanini Parchment Crackers have a sug-
gested retail price of $2.99 per 3.5-ounce pack,
and are sold to retailers in cases of 10.
