Execs from across the fresh sectors
converged in Anaheim and Chicago last
month to learn, network and discover
new products at the annual IDDBA and
United Fresh shows.
IDDBA chairwoman Jewel Hunt, group VP at Albertsons, and her husband, Bruce, made their way across the sold-out IDDBA
expo floor, which consisted of 2,048 booths representing 825 companies.
One of The Food Network’s most popular chef-personalities,
Giada De Laurentiis, engaged IDDBA show-goers with a lively
and interesting Q&A in the Show & Sell Center.
The United Fresh show floor served as home to a bevy of new
produce items, fresh food trends and familiar faces, including
Teri Miller (c), senior produce category manager, The Fresh
Market, who was joined by Frieda’s Specialty Produce’s Karen
Caplan (l) and Jackie Caplan Wiggins.
