E-cig Distributor Goes Organic
TOASTING A NEW NAME
LiDestri Food and Drink has
changed its name to better reflect the
company’s comprehensive capabilities as a modern contract manufacturer. It is also launching a new website, LidestriFoodandDrink.com.
The Fairport, N.Y.-based company’s previous name, LiDestri Foods,
reflects an era when the company was almost exclusively a contract manufacturer of pasta sauces and salsas, say company officials. The new name reflects
the addition of fast-growing divisions for beverages and spirits in recent
years, expanding the company’s continued and diversified offerings in dips,
sauces and salsas.
In recent years, the company has established an Innovation Center in
Rochester, N. Y., allowing it to increase its research and development power
for both national brands, such as Newman’s Own, and private label customers.
The new website was an initiative of Stefani LiDestri, who was promoted
from chief marketing officer to co-president alongside her brother John C.
LiDestri. Giovanni LiDestri remains CEO and continues to oversee manufacturing operations.
“We’re very proud of how our company has evolved and grown while staying steeped in our roots,” says Stefani LiDestri. “I treasure the partnerships
that have brought us to this point. Both our new website and our new name
exemplify our company’s character.”

“After a lengthy search, we are pleased to have identified this strategic
opportunity and look forward to its consummation,” says Jeffrey Holman, CEO
of Vapor Corp., based in Dania Beach, Fla. “With the tenuous state of the vapor
industry, based upon the recently promulgated FDA regulations, diversifica-
tion is a very proactive and prudent step for Vapor Corp. at this time.”
“We currently own and operate 20 retail vape stores,” says Vapor Corp. presi-
dent Christopher Santi. “Equally important is the fact that we, as a manage-
ment team, have years of experience being on the other side of the equation
as a supplier to tens of thousands of retail stores. This gives us a unique per-
spective and skill set, which we fully expect to enhance Ada’s already profit-

well-balanced lifestyle. In addition to a comprehensive selection of vita-
mins and health and beauty, Ada’s also provides a fresh café and an organic
juice bar open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
